Marina Bittar

Marina recently joined FM/Derraik as a partner in the corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital areas. Marina has worked at leading M&A law firms in Brazil and has nearly 20 years of experience in corporate matters, mergers, and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings in general. Marina graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP) in 2004 and took a course focused on Corporate Law and Corporate Governance at LSE – London School of Economics and Political Science in 2009.

She provided consultancy to large international groups and Brazilian companies from various sectors on various corporate issues, including acquisitions & sales, mergers, associations, and many types of restructuring. Has to experience in structuring and legal advice on M&A transactions, legal auditing, purchase, and sales of assets, the establishment of foreign companies in Brazil and commercial contracts in general and has worked for clients from different jurisdictions and different sectors, including technology companies, advertising groups, retail, service companies, educational companies, and others.
