Lucilene Prado

She has worked for almost 30 years in the areas of business law, especially in the areas of tax, commercial, corporate reorganizations, and corporate governance, with a strong focus on the sectors of industry, retail, and consumer goods, having spent her career in auditing and consulting, industrial, commercial and service companies and law firm.

She worked in the Tax and Legal Departments of large national companies, including Natura Cosméticos S.A. where she was Legal Director until March 2014 and Technical Consultant to the Audit and Risk Management Committee until 2015.

May 2014 she joined FM/Derraik Advogados as a partner responsible for the practices of Tax Law, Labor, and Third Sector, where she works both in the formation of departments, structuring of operations and planning, sector studies as well as in judicial and administrative tax litigation. dedicated in the last 3 years to projects that involve the impact analysis of tax reform proposals.

Expertise in the investigation, analysis, and evaluation of tax reforms and systems in several countries in order to advise sector entities in dealings with the Brazilian Tax Reform, whether in the taxation of consumption or income.
Analysis of the impacts of tax reform proposals on various sectors of the economy and construction together with economists for suggestions for improving the measures under discussion.
Responsible for the Natura Group’s tax management for 14 years, which allowed optimization of the consolidated tax burden (Brazil and abroad), risk mitigation as well as success in relevant tax litigation.
