With more than a decade of experience in some of the most relevant law firms in Brazil in the areas of Corporate/M&A and Financial and Capital Markets, with past experience in public administration, Filipe has also participated and developed projects in Information Technology, having contributed with the Network Security and Network Engineering working groups of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee, a multi-sectorial structure responsible for coordinating and integrating initiatives related to the use, functioning and development of the Internet in Brazil. He also collaborated with the E-GOV Rio, the digital governance working group of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall.
He has experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate restructurings, legal advice to publicly-traded companies, corporate disputes, hostile takeovers, joint ventures, business contracts and negotiations. His practice covers the most diverse sectors, such as publishing, education, finance, real estate, oil and gas, chemical, insurance, technology, telecommunications and retail, among others.
While contributing to Ibmec’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, Filipe also participated in a mentoring program with Warren Buffett, in Omaha.
